A Celebration Of Freedom

Fourth on Lake Austin Trey Ratcliff via Compfight

The night air ripped asunder.

Smoke permeates the sky.

An eager congregation responds with ohhs and ahhs.

Small children shudder from the noise.

It’s like a bass drum in your chest.

A celebration of independence.

A remembrance of lives lost, sacrifice, and valor.

Gratitude, like a symphony in the sky.
