A Moment of Silence

Today is a quiet day.  A day to reflect and give pause.  The week after the attacks, I read this prayer and wrote it down in a journal.  I recently came across that journal, and I would like to share this with you.

May peace be with you, may peace be multiplied.

Mychal’s Prayer

Lord, take me where You want me to go
Let me meet who You want me to meet
Tell me what You want me to say and
Keep me out of Your way.

(A prayer of Fire Dept. Chaplain Mychal Judge, age 68, who passed away in the World Trade Center attacks.)
