Project 50 - Day #6 (Midnight)

Azure moon
Self-esteem of how life could
Be through me.

Heaven’s eye
Following me
So utterly

How can I
Stand before sunshine
While shadows
Of past shame clings on.

Blot out the prideful sun.
Aquatic confessions in the night.
Trouble my waters.
I’m desperate to be whole.

Give me peace
I’ll give you drama
For all I am
For all you are.

Like a reticulated serpent
I’m squeezed by the truth
All the refuse churns up
All the authentic me remains.
