Hi everyone! Every November, a couple of things happen. There is NaNoWriMo a.k.a National Novel Writing Month. The goal is to start on your novel Nov. 1st, have it finished by Nov. 30th.
Then there is NaBloPoMo a.k.a National Blog Posting Month, where you post something every day on your blog for 30 days.
So I want to do something this November. Not for me, but for you and the people. So I’m calling for submissions for what I’m dubbing Poemvember.
30 days, 30 poems. I thought about doing it all on my own, but that is entirely too much Jermaine. So if you would like to submit a poem, spankin’ go for it! I for one would love to read/hear your poetry, as would the other members of A Guild Called Hope (I had to change the name, there is another guild and I don’t want to intrude).
Email me your poetry here by October 23 and I’ll post it during Poemvember. You can write about anything you would like, this a new project I’m trying out. I’m also going to do my poetry, in a video format. You can perform yours in a video as well. Or not. It’s entirely up to you.
Let’s restore some beauty to this mixed up world by sharing our art/ourselves.
[Also, please share this with your friends, family, co-workers, that guy behind the counter you’ve had your eye one and was thinking of a cool way to get his attention. Write him a poem, you never know. The more people who submit, the merrier. Help spread the word using #poemvember]
Follow up from the last Getting To Know You:
@Jennifer- How are things going with your baby girl?
@Kyla- How is it going with people coming over to your house?
@David M.- How is your art coming along? [Side note- You can get a taste of his outstanding artwork here at Mctoonist. I would buy his art when it becomes available, you’ll be glad you did.]
@Sarah- How is everything with you these days?
