Self-Care

Drowning under a mountain of paper net_efekt via Compfight

Compassion for others
Pours out of us, esp. for people we care for.
Empathy for ourselves
Is a triumph.
Shall we not give permission to care for ourselves?

We
Our harshest critic.
We
Our greatest coach.
The wounds of our past
Drive us, subconsciously.
To do. To produce. To keep accelerating.
Dare we take back the wheel?
Dare we give pause,

The challenge of caring for ourselves
To let ourselves be.
Is a daily, if not hourly struggle.
Take care, you are not alone my friend.
I’m right there with you
Right there.
